Students will research an African American using PebbleGo
Students will create a Buncee answering the following questions: 1- Who is your famous African American? 2- When was he/she born? 3- What is something important from their EARLY life? 4- What obstacles did he/she face? 5- What is something important from their LIFE'S Work? 6- What are TWO important details from LATER Years and CONTIBUTIONS 7- Do you think it was hard for them to prove themselves or be a leader because of their skin color? Why or why not? 8- Think about being in a situation where you are the first person to break into a job where no one else like you has ever worked. Imagine how hard you would have to work to prove yourself. What would you do?
